Has polarization in Thailand resulted in hate speech spread through online media?

Does using hate speech online create further polarization, political conflict, or even increase the adherence to particular ideas and beliefs in Thai society? Or, vice versa, does hate speech cause political conflict to intensify and expand?  

Why has the use of verbal abuse or hate speech in providing information and expressing opinions that are full of prejudice and violence, judgemental, belittling, insulting, and attacking opponents become commonplace in social media?

What effect does this have on people's attitudes in society? How do we exercise our rights to freedom of opinion and expression without using hate speech?
