Preventing and Countering Extremism and Radicalisation
Denmark is one of the safest countries in the world, a democratic welfare society that provides individual freedom and opportunities to its citizens and take good care of each other. But destructive forces from extremist groups within the country as well as abroad, pose a threat to the security and social cohesion of Danish society. That is why it is more important than ever before to protect the fundamental values and individual rights which form the basis of Danish society. Values such as liberty, democracy, safety and the right to self-determination for the individual person are the aim of the national action plan.
